Refunds
Last updated: October 12, 2026 · Momotako is made by Gustavo Garibay, trading as Decrypt Labs. Questions? [email protected]
The short version
- 14 days, full refund, any reason. If Expert isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of buying and you get all your money back.
- After a refund, your license key is switched off on every Mac.
- Expert is coming soon and isn't on sale yet. This policy applies from the first sale.
How to ask for a refund
- Email [email protected] with the email address you bought with. Your order number helps, if you have it. You can also use the link in your Paddle receipt.
- You don't need to give a reason, though we'd love to know what didn't work, so we can make Momo better.
- Paddle, our reseller, sends the refund to the card or account you paid with, including any tax you paid. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
After a refund
Your license key is switched off, and Expert stops working on the Macs that used it. Please remove the app with the Uninstall app that comes with it. Light and Standard are free, so you can keep using those.
After 14 days
If Expert stops working as described on a Mac that meets its requirements, and we can't fix it, we'll refund you even after 14 days. Write to us and we'll sort it out together.
Your rights where you live
Some countries give buyers extra rights, such as a 14-day right to cancel in the EU and UK. Those rights always apply on top of this policy, and Paddle follows them.
Keeping it fair
- Refunds can be refused when there are signs of fraud or repeated buy-and-refund abuse.
- If you dispute the payment with your bank (a chargeback), the license is paused while it's reviewed. Please write to us first. A refund is almost always quicker.
